The Glen Bridge will be replaced this summer with a wider, sturdier concrete version that will be open for the fall 2017 semester.
Construction on the bridge will begin in June and will include new support towers, a sturdy concrete deck and an expanded walkway that will be more than a foot wider than the existing bridge. The new bridge will have a similar look and feel to the one connecting the Union and the Union Garage.
