OTS Training Tip of the Week
Tools to Enhance Your PowerPoint 2016 Presentations
In PowerPoint’s Presenter View, there are four great tools located underneath your slide preview that can help enhance your presentations.
Pen and laser pointer tools – By clicking this icon, you can choose the behavior of your mouse pointer during your presentation. This tool enables you to use your mouse as a laser pointer, highlighter or pen to draw on your slides
See all slides – Clicking on this button will create a tiled gallery of all of your slides in the Presenter View. This enables you to select slides out-of-order.
Zoom into the slide – When you click on this icon, you are able to zoom into your slide. This is especially helpful if you wish to emphasize a particular part of your slide during your presentation. Clicking and dragging while zoomed into a slide will move the selected area. To zoom back out, click the icon again.
Black or unblack slide show – This icon works like a light switch. Click once and your presentation screen goes black. Click again and the presentation reappears.
