One Sabbatical, Three Projects Towards Pedagogical Ends
I will share videos from my performances in Poland, Malta, Germany, and Iceland. I will report the results of my research of contemporary Polish cello music suitable for pedagogical use at Towson University. Five of my students are currently learning some of these works and will present them in a recital, May 8 at noon, in the Recital Hall. A segment of my educational video, Teaching Bass in the Lower String Class, will be presented and discussed. This video accompanies a workbook of the same name.
The presentation will take place on Friday, May 12 in Center for the Arts, room 2032 from 3:50-4:30 pm.
