A student symposium examining the complexities of the 1960s era of activism and change through the lenses of intersecting social identities, such as race and ethnicity, gender, sexuality, and religion. Students’ projects will focus on civil rights and activism and may be inspired by themes of activism in the 1960s and how those themes relate to current civil rights and activist movements.
