Help Build Bridges Not Borders

Please consider opening your home and heart to international students this summer.  We view our homestay program for our international students as a way to build bridges of understanding and peace through hospitality.

This summer TU International has some compelling opportunities for hosting!

TU’s International Partnerships Office is welcoming several groups of students this summer for short-term academic and cultural immersion programs.  These students are highly motivated and value an authentic opportunity to get to know American families.

The dates and opportunities for hosting are:

June 16-20:  3 day/4 night homestay for German high school students from Max Planck Gymnasium located in Delmenhorst, Germany (commitment level is low — includes weekend and weekday drop off and pick up from TU’s campus)

July 16-29: 2-week homestay for Peruvian undergraduate students from the University of Piura, Peru (commitment level is moderate)

July 1-28:  Opportunities to host Chinese, Korean, Puerto Rican, or Peruvian students for dinner one (1) evening;  (commitment level is low – dinner arrangements can be made according to your schedule).

July 29-August 28: Opportunities to host Chinese and Korean students for dinner one (1) evening;  (commitment level is low – dinner arrangements can be made according to your schedule).
