Use Force Quit on Mac to Terminate a Frozen Program
Did you know there is a Mac equivalent to Ctrl+Alt+Del on PC to close down a frozen application? Follow these steps to quickly and easily terminate unresponsive software.
- Move your mouse cursor to the top of the screen to reveal the Mac toolbar.
- Click the Apple symbol in the upper left-hand corner.
- Click Force Quit. This will open up a window to show all your running programs. You can also press Command-Option-Escape to access this window.
- Select the program you want to close and then click Force Quit.
