OTS Training Tip of the Week

Design PowerPoint Slides with Ease

Do you ever have trouble designing your PowerPoint slides with pictures and text? Powerpoint Online automatically suggests attractive design ideas for the current information on your PowerPoint slide. Here’s how you can get started:

  1. Open a new or current presentation in PowerPoint Online. (Go to office.towson.edu, login and click on the PowerPoint tile. Click New blank presentation or open an existing presentation).
  2. Click the Insert tab on the ribbon and then click Online Pictures in the Images group. Find and insert a picture.
  3. PowerPoint Design Ideas will show up in a panel on the right (displaying ways to integrate text with the image).
  4. Click on the design idea and it will take effect on the current slide.
