Marines from Marine Forces Pacific, Hawaii perform the ceremonial “Rifle Volley Salute” during the 60th Anniversary of the end of World War II held on board the USS Missouri(BB 63) Memorial in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The event is a commemoration of the formal surrender of Japan marking the end of the war. The surrender took place onboard USS Missouri Sept. 2, 1945, in Tokyo Bay.
