As we prepare for the end of the Fall, 2016 term, there will be increased pedestrian traffic near and around the residence halls as students move out. Please abide by the guidelines below for Fall Move Out:
- During Fall Move Out, designated “Move-out” spaces will be located near each residence hall.
- Vehicles may only be parked in “Move-out” spaces for a maximum of 30 minutes. A permit is not required while parked in a “Move-out” space. However, once vehicles are loaded, vehicles must be moved to a legal commuter, overflow, or resident space based on the individual’s parking permit type.
- All vehicles must be parked in a legal space. At no time may any vehicle be parked in fire lanes, in a roadway, on sidewalks, on grass, or otherwise reserved space, even for a few minutes.
- Only vehicles displaying both a state issued handicapped license plate/placard and a valid TU parking permit may be parked in handicapped spaces.
- The walkway in the West Village by way of Lot 17 will be open to vehicles for loading on December 15 and 16 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on December 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is no access through Millennium Hall. Please follow the directions of signs and posted staff. Outside of these times, vehicles must be parked in a legal space or use a “Move Out” space.
- If you do not have a valid parking permit, you must either purchase a student permit online at https://tuflexport0616.t2hosted.com/Account/Portal or purchase a “Visitor” permit from a visitor paystation for the timeframe your vehicle will not be parked in designated “Move-Out” parking spaces.
For the safety of our campus community, illegally parked vehicles may be cited and towed at the owner’s expense.
