TU Policy Rescission: Prohibiting Abusive Conduct/Bullying Policy

Due to concerns that the broad language in the TU Policy on Abuse and Bullying contained language that potentially infringes on constitutionally protected speech, effective November 1, 2016, Towson University has rescinded the “Prohibiting Abusive Conduct/Bullying Policy.” However, students, faculty and staff of the university are still assured similar protections through currently existing Towson University and University System of Maryland policies listed below.
