The Towson University Department of Athletics has teamed up with the Maryland Food Bank to help end hunger.
Currently, one in eight Marylanders are food insecure, which means they don’t have consistent access to nutritious food. So Towson University is helping to lead the fight to end hunger in our state.
For Saturday’s Senior Day game against William & Mary, fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items. The goal for Saturday’s game is to collect enough food items for 1,112 meals.
Food will be can be dropped off at the stadium gates, with members of Towson University’s Greek Life community volunteering to collect food at each gate.
Fans who are not attending the game still have the ability to donate through the Virtual Food Drive. Fans who donate at least $20 to the virtual food drive are eligible to receive four complimentary tickets to Saturday’s game.
