Panel Discussion TODAY by Editor and Authors of Recent Book, “Retire the Colors”

TODAY, November 14, 2:00 to 3:15pm, College of Liberal Arts building, room 2302

Participate in a panel discussion by the editor, Dario DiBattista, and three authors of the recent book, Retire the Colors: Veterans & Civilians on Iraq & Afghanistan. DiBattista’s work has appeared in the Washingtonian, New York Times, Washington Post, and Connecticut Review.

Retire the Colors includes works by Colin Halloran (poet, essayist, photographer, artist, and author); Lauren Kay Halloran (former Air Force public affairs officer); Stewart Moss (former executive director of The Writer’s Center in Bethesda); and Richard Allen Smith (writer, activist, and former Army sergeant). The authors will read selections from their works and take questions from the audience.
