“Biogeochemical symptoms of the urban stream syndrome”

The Department of Physics, Astronomy & Geosciences invites all to attend the Fall 2016 Seminar, with Dr. AJ Reisinger who will speak about the interactions of water quality and ecosystem functioning in urban streams. In particular, he will describe a a multi-chemical approach to quantifying urban chemical stressors using a 15 year dataset from Baltimore. He will also discuss his ongoing research focused on the potential for stream restorations to reduce nitrogen export to Chesapeake Bay.
