Volunteers needed – Glen Arboretum!

The Glen Arboretum will be hosting its first volunteer day this Friday, September 16th, from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM. For this event, we’ll be putting wood chips near the picnic table and along the upper path between Smith Hall and the York Rd. building entrance to the Glen Woods. Any attire is okay for this even but we recommend sturdy shoes. We’ll provide gloves and water. Please meet us at the Greenhouse behind Smith Hall. If you can’t make the 11:00 AM start time, come find our staff in yellow shirts in the Glen Woods upper trail area. Volunteers can stay as long as they want (all four hours are not required) and this event does give credit towards organizations that need volunteer hours.
