Please join us for the Fall Division of Student Affairs Diversity Speaker Jane Elliott on Wednesday, September 28th, 6-9pm*, at the SECU Arena. Ms. Elliott is an internationally known teacher, lecturer, diversity trainer, anti-racism activist, feminist, LGBT activist and recipient of the National Mental Health Association Award for Excellence in Education.
Ms. Elliott will lead us in a campus-wide discussion around the anatomy of prejudice. During this event, she plans to discuss her Blue Eyes/Brown Eyes exercise and explore racism, sexism, ageism, homophobia, and ethnocentrism and the responsibilities we all share in challenging systems of oppression.
*Attendees are required to stay for the duration of the three hour program
