In an effort to educate faculty, staff and students and to promote awareness, Towson University Police Department has joined other higher education institutions across the nation in recognizing National Campus Safety Awareness month. Throughout September, the TUPD will host a number of campus events and programming to raise awareness, educate students about crime prevention and promote safety.
The month long series officially kicks off on:

Join TUPD at our “Registration Station”- The “Registration Station” will provide FREE engraving and FREE property registration using our online personal property registration. TUPD will also be on hand to answer any safety questions you have from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m., on the second floor of the University Union.

Think Before You Drink, What’s in your cup? An alcohol awareness program to discuss alcohol safety on campus. There will be interactive activities such as, beer goggles, an obstacle course and prizes. Second floor of the University Union from noon – 1 p.m.
