The Office of Technology Services (OTS) welcomes you to the fall semester! Whether you are new to campus or returning, OTS has technology resources and services to help facilitate success in teaching and learning at Towson University. Be sure to save these links for future reference:

Faculty and Staff

  • The OTS Faculty/Staff Help Center is the primary point of contact for computing questions and technology resolution. Get support by calling 410-704-5151.
  • Faculty OTS Orientation provides a quick list of guides and OTS services. Originally designed for new faculty, this reference list is also helpful for returning faculty and staff. Resources include: quick information on working in Blackboard, WebEx and Panopto, using SCS studios, accessing technology self-help documents, registering for training workshops, securing hardware and software, getting tech support and more.
  • Report an issue or get support for Classroom Technology by calling x4-TECH, (410-704-8324).

Students

  • Student Computing Services (SCS) provides technology resources and support for students. SCS includes Services Desks, Computer Labs, ResNet support, Multimedia support and Studios. Get support by calling 410-704-5151, or visit one of the walk-up locations.
  • TechOverture provides a list of technology resources for students. Get information on using NetIDs, accessing email, registration and records, logging into courses in Blackboard, storing files, accessing Wi-Fi, using OneCard and more technology topics important to student life at TU.

All Campus

  • Technology questions or issues? Submit a service request online through TechHelp.
  • Get Microsoft Office apps including Word, Excel and others for free, as long as you are at TU through Office 365.
  • Get free group or customized technology training on services like Blackboard, WordPress, OneDrive through OTS Training.
  • Be in the know. Get the latest updates about technology outages and service interruptions through OTS Alerts or follow us on twitter @OTSAlerts.
  • Forward all suspicious emails to the Office of Information Security at phishing@towson.edu.
  • Get more links and information on technology support, services and resources on the OTS webpage.
