All PeopleSoft applications will be unavailable over the Memorial Day holiday weekend while The Office of Technology Services (OTS) performs a system upgrade.
All core PeopleSoft systems – Human Resources, Student (Campus Solutions) and Financials – will be unavailable from 4 p.m. on Friday, May 27 until 7 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31. In addition to the core PeopleSoft systems, the following applications will also be unavailable:
- Tiger Travel
- MyTU Mobile
- Timesheets
OTS will be splitting the PeopleSoft HR application from the Campus Solutions application, upgrading the PeopleSoft HR system to the most current version and implementing a new HR recruiting product called Taleo. These upgrades are necessary in order to maintain software support and regulatory compliance of the system, effectively perform mission-critical and daily business operations, and enable future enhancements. Additionally, the implementation of Taleo will enhance the overall employment applicant process and will better enable Towson to attract, retain and support highly talented staff.
