Resident Freshman Parking Restrictions

Parking & Transportation Services would like to inform the campus community that as of the Fall 2016 term, Freshman resident students (those residing in on-campus housing including Millennium Hall) will not be permitted to purchase a parking permit until they have earned 30 credits.  Limited exemptions to the Freshman Restriction will be granted with documentation of need.  The Freshman Exemption Application and more information will be available on our website in July.  Freshman Commuter students (those living off-campus) will still be allowed to purchase parking permits, as in the past.

There are many transportation options available for students to get around the campus and around the surrounding area:   On and off campus shuttles, Collegetown Shuttle and Zip Car, just to name a few.

As a reminder, a valid TU permit is required year-round to park on campus from 6 am to 8 pm Monday through Thursday, and 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.

For additional information, please visit the Parking & Transportation Services website at www.towson.edu/parking or phone the office at 410-704-PARK.
