With its finish at the top of the standings, the Towson men’s lacrosse team has earned the No. 1 seed in the the Colonial Athletic Association tournament.
The top-seeded Tigers will take on No. 4 seed Drexel at 4 p.m. this Thursday at Johnny Unitas Stadium. The first 200 student tickets will be free courtesy of the Towson University Student Government Association. After the first 200 tickets have been distributed, student tickets will be just $5.
Student tickets must be picked up from either the University Union or Unitas Stadium box office. General ticket prices are $10 for adults, $8 for youth (ages 2-12) and seniors (65 and older). Groups of 10 or more can purchase tickets at a special rate of $5.
The second semifinal will also take place at Unitas Stadium, with No. 2 seed Fairfield hosting No. 3 seed Hofstra. That game is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Winners of each semifinal will play in the 2016 CAA Championship game at 1 p.m. On Saturday at Unitas Stadium. If Towson advances, the first 200 student tickets will be free for this game as well.
