The Invasive Species Removal team is hosting an English Ivy Removal event from 2:00-5:00 PM on Wednesday, April 13th. This is a great opportunity for individuals and organizations that need volunteer hours to pick them up and help take stewardship of your campus by helping us control invasive plant species growing in the Glen Woods. We suggest volunteers wear sturdy shoes and long pants for this event. We’ll provide water, snacks and any other equipment necessary – just bring yourself and a friend! We’ll meet up at the green house behind Smith Hall. For those that can’t make the start of the event but still want to participate, just come down into the Glen Woods and look for our staff wearing yellow Glen Woods T-shirts.
