Dr. Alex Storrs, Department of Physics, Astronomy and Geosciences, will present a planetarium show titled, “Pluto: New Horizons, New Understanding” in the Watson-King Planetarium, Smith Hall, Room 521. “As data continues to come back to Earth from the New Horizons mission, our understanding of the former ninth planet continues to improve. We will look at some of the latest results and interpretations, as well as some other new and interesting discoveries on the outskirts of our solar system.” Plan to come and enjoy the show on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 8:00pm. Telescope viewing, weather permitting after the show.
