This eclectic, theatrical, multi-media presentation celebrates where the arts have been and where they’re going in the next 150 years. Dance on Bones delivers a prophetic vision of a dystopian world devastated by environmental forces where a revolutionary heroine trumpets hope and salvation for humanity. The collection of short works created by each discipline features actors, singers, artists and jazz musicians, all telling a story.
The performance is part of Towson University’s 150th Anniversary Celebration and is presented by students and faculty in a unique collaboration among the departments of Art + Design, Art History, Art Education; Dance; Electronic Media & Film; Mass Communication & Communication Studies; Music and Theatre Arts.
