The Office of Technology Services (OTS) now offers WebEx to students. This web conferencing solution allows students to remotely share resources like documents, desktops and web browsers. WebEx for Students may be used to collaborate on group projects using Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) for audio.
Requirements
- A headset with a microphone (USB recommended), or a separate microphone and computer speakers are needed to use VoIP effectively. Video may also be used; however, it is not required.
- A valid NetID and password for logging into WebEx.
- An activated WebEx account for hosting a meeting.
