Community Parking Restrictions Around the TU Campus

As we begin the spring term, Parking & Transportation Services would like to remind the campus community that faculty, staff and students should not park in the residential communities or business lots surrounding the campus.  Most of these communities have reserved/permit parking for their residents and unauthorized vehicles may be towed at the owner’s expense.  Please be considerate of our campus neighbors and refrain from parking in their neighborhoods.  Ample parking is available on the TU campus.

Please remember, all vehicles parked on campus must have a valid TU permit during enforcement hours, Monday – Thursday 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Permits can be purchased through your eParking account or in person at Auxiliary Services Business Office, located in the lower level of the University Union.  Visitor parking permits can be purchased at any of the yellow paystations on campus.  Paystations accept major debit/credit cards and cash (no change given).

There are also Baltimore County metered parking spaces on Cross Campus Drive.  Permits purchased for these spaces are not valid on the TU campus and any citations issued on these spaces are issued by Baltimore County.  All questions and appeals for these citations must be sent directly to Baltimore County using the contact information on the back of the citation.

For additional information, please visit the Parking & Transportation Services website at www.towson.edu/parking or phone the office at 410-704-PARK.
