In February 2016, Microsoft will be making upgrades to Office 2013. OTS does not have a role in this upgrade, but wants to make Office 365 users aware of this upcoming change.
This is only for personal devices where Office 2013 was installed through Office 365. TU computers will not be affected. Here is what can be expected:
- Office 2013 through Office 365 will be automatically upgraded to Office 2016 in February 2016.
- Office 2016 files will be automatically downloaded to users’ personal devices and Office 365 will be upgraded.
- If you use InfoPath 2013, it will be removed when the upgrade takes place, but can be reinstalled from the Software page in the Office 365 portal.
