Smart Phone App for Stroke Rehabilitation!

People who suffer a “brain attack” or “stroke” often have arm and leg weakness as a result. Researchers from the Computer & Information Sciences and Occupational Therapy & Occupational Science Departments are pilot testing an app created for an iPhone or Android smart phone for stroke survivors which supports participation in arm exercises that can aid in arm strengthening and recovery. Watch this video to learn more about the app at: ARMStrokes

We are seeking adults over the age of 18 who have access to a smart phone and some movement ability in the affected arm(s) to participate in the study. Interested individuals can contact the researchers at www.tustroketech.com or by calling Dr. Sonia Lawson at 410-704-2313 or email to slawson@towson.edu.
