This week, TU unveiled its newly updated master plan, which was developed over the past year using input from more than 600 faculty, staff, students and community members. The plan focuses on addressing three themes: capacity, community and connections. Plan highlights include:
- 3,000 new student beds
- 1,700 new parking spots
- New science and College of Health Professions buildings
- A bike and pedestrian beltway to provide safer pathways for recreation and better connections to downtown Towson
- A new building at the corner of York Road & Burke Avenue to better connect the campus to the community
