Dr. Alex Storrs, Department of Physics, Astronomy and Geosciences, will present a planetarium show titled, “The Music of the Spheres” in the Watson-King Planetarium, Smith Hall, Room 521.
For over 2000 years, music has been used to try to understand and express the cosmos. We will explore some of these expressions, starting with Pythagoras and working through Kepler to the modern day. What will resonate with you?
