Author Kathleen Dowling Singh Explores “The Grace in Dying” & “The Grace in Aging”

The TU Gerontology Programs, in collaboration with the Department of Interprofessional Health Studies, the College of Health Professions, the Threshold Circle, Companioning the Dying, and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW – Maryland Chapter) is hosting nationally recognized author and speaker, Kathleen Dowling Singh, Ph.D. Dr. Singh, is well known within the Hospice and End-of-Life communities, as well as among groups interested in spirituality, meditation, and mindfulness.   

The event will take place on Saturday, October 17th, 2015, from 9:30 to 1:30, Chesapeake III, Student Union.  Light refreshments, autographed books, as well as time for questions and answers with the speaker will be available.  Tickets are $33.50 per person and it is open to the community.  Registration is available online at Eventbrite via the Threshold Support Circle website (thresholdsupportcircle.org/upcoming-events) and at the door.  Seating is limited, so advanced registration is advised.  Individuals interested in CEUs through the NASW should contact Lee Hoyt directly at:  leehoyt@thresholdsupportcircle.org
