Students, faculty and staff members are strongly encouraged to register their handicap placard or license plates with Parking and Transportation Services. Registering a hangtag or license plate informs university staff that the vehicle is registered to a driver who possesses the valid credentials to park in handicap restricted spaces. The handicap placard must be registered in the name of the person driving the vehicle. It is not permitted to register another person’s handicap placard. Should the driver fail to hang the placard, enforcement officers will not cite or tow the vehicle. A warning may be issued.
