To better serve and accommodate the growing campus community, several changes to parking will be required. Below are changes that will take affect prior to the beginning of the fall semester. Please carefully read all parking signs to ensure you are parking in a valid location for your permit type.
-Lot 24a near the Administration building is being converted to a parking area for the shuttle buses. Commuter parking will no longer be available in this area.
-The Commuter spaces in the back of lot 24 will be converted to Faculty/Staff in order to accommodate the increase Faculty/Staff parking in the area.
-Towsontown garage – potions of the ramp from the 2nd to 3rd floor have converted to Faculty/Staff parking
Please remember to check signs in the area prior to parking. In an effort to help reduce confusion, signs are color coded as outlined below:
-Green border – “Commuter” permits are required during peak times, all permits are valid after 3 p.m.
-Purple border – “Resident” permits (lot specific) are required at ALL times.
-Black border – Overflow parking, All permits are valid in these areas
-Red border – “Faculty/Staff” permits are required during peak times as posted on signs. After posted times, all permits are valid in these areas
