The following work is planned for the week of 8/3/15:
On Monday, August 3 the guard rails located on Auburn Drive are scheduled to be removed and replaced. This work is expected to take three days. The roadway will remain open, but may be reduced to one lane where necessary. Landscape Services is coordinating this work.
On Monday, August 3 repairs will begin on the walkways around Cook Library and Linthicum Hall main entrances. The entrances will remain open, but please exercise caution in these areas. Landscape Services is coordinating this work.
On Wednesday, August 5 there will be a steam outage affecting the following buildings: New Smith, Liberal Arts, Hawkins, Psychology, University Union, and Burdick. This outage is expected to take 3three to six hours and is necessary to make repairs in steam manhole #1. The University Pipe Shop is coordinating this work.
On Wednesday, August 5 the side entrance doors will be replaced at the 7400 York Road building. The plan is to replace one set of entrance doors at a time. The second set of doors will be replaced on August 12. The University Lock Shop is coordinating this work.
