Premiering in 2016, Light City Baltimore is the first large-scale, international light festival in the United States, homegrown right here in Baltimore. Light City will provide a backdrop for the celebration of ideas, ingenuity and creativity through art, music and innovation.

1. uniquely sited Illuminated artworks that will be active all days of the festival
2. live performances that have a light component
3. distinctively curated musical performances and concerts that enhance and complement the light displays and sculptures.
Artists and artist collaborative groups working in all media and genres of both the visual and performing arts are encouraged to apply.
Any genre of music and performance is eligible and all are encouraged to apply. Please keep in mind that many performances will draw audiences of all age ranges, including young children.
