TU Teach-In #3 Race Matters at Towson

The third Teach-In will be held on Wednesday May 6, 2015 and will focus on race and inequality at Towson University. We will begin with two speakers, alumnus Dayvon Love (Leaders of a Beautiful Struggle) and former Maryland police officer Neill Franklin (Director of LEAP), who will contextualize what happened in Baltimore. Then, we will transition to a panel made up of students and faculty who will discuss how matters in Baltimore impact us at Towson. In small groups, we will discuss race inequity at Towson University and what we can do about it.
