Goats in the Glen, Glen Woods near Smith Hall, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Harmony Farm goats are back in the Glen and ready to munch on some invasives, like English ivy. Visit with our furry friends and learn about the benefits of this land management strategy. Rain date scheduled for April 24 (Arbor Day).
Stream Clean-Up, Towson Run Stream, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The ESS Club, in collaboration with Clean Water Action, brings you a Project Stream Clean Event for Towson Run. Meet at the walkway between Liberal Arts and Towson Garage at 11 a.m., and then head over to Towson Run Stream. Pizza and refreshments available to volunteers.
Guided Nature Walk, Glen Woods Pavilion, 1 p.m.
Join Professor Emeritus Jim Hull on a relaxing nature walk, while learning about the beautiful flora and fauna in the Glen Woods. Grab a spot early- this walk is limited to 16 participants.
Joe’s Bike Repair, Freedom Square, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Broken bike? Bring it over to Joe’s Bike Repair to purchase the necessary parts and receive a complimentary bike repair.
BikeMD Workshop, Freedom Square, 1 to 3 p.m.
Participate in a discussion about bike safety from the experts at Bike Maryland followed by a fun ride around campus. Don’t worry if you don’t have a bike- Campus Rec will be present to donate 8 bikes for the ride to students in need.
