World War I as Global War: Japan and the Dawn of an Asia/Pacific World

On Wednesday, April 22, at 3:30pm in the College of Liberal Arts, room 4310, Dr. Fred Dickinson from the University of Pennsylvania will present the Spring keynote address entitled ” World War I as Global War:  Japan and the Dawn of an Asia/Pacific World.”  Dr. Dickinson is Professor of Japanese History and co-director of the Lauder Institute of Management and International Studies at the University of Pennsylvania.  His lecture is part of the Battlefields and Home Fronts:  World War I and Modern Life” series.
