Cook Library wants you to design a 1’’ button that represents our library and what makes it special. Get creative! The top five designs will be turned into buttons and distributed during the Cook Library Love Letter event (see below). The most popular design will be used for Cook Library marketing and events and its designer will receive a Towson giftpack!

How to Enter:
Create one or more 1″ button designs using one of the following software templates:
Word | PowerPoint | Photoshop | Illustrator
Technical Hints:
- Zoom in on the shape (View–>Zoom in Word and PPT)
- Make sure your message fits fully inside the inside circle (the outside circle will wrap around the button) in the templates
- Powerpoint and Word are available on all library computers, Photoshop and Illustrator are available in the 2nd floor lab and in the SCS lab in room 35.

Or go low-tech and hand draw or paint a 1″ round design. We will scan your design on to a button template.
Contest Rules:
- This contest is open to Towson University students, staff and faculty.
- Multiple entries are allowed, but there will be only one winner.
- Designs must be original.
- Entries must be emailed to ctomlinson@towson.edu (or submitted in person at the Research Help desk) before Friday, April 10th at 8pm.
- In submitting an entry, you are agreeing that Cook Library may use your design for library related marketing and events.
Prizes:
The top 5 designs (as judged by a team of library staff and students) will be printed and given away during the Cook Library Love Letter Events (see below). These designers will also receive 10 copies of their own buttons. We will notify all entrants of the top 5 designs before April 13th.
The favorite (as judged by Cook Library Love Letter Event attendees) will be available throughout the semester and may be used in library marketing and events. The designer will also receive a Towson themed gift pack.
