The Office of Human Resources (OHR) will accept tuition remission requests for Towson’s 2015 summer semesters until Monday, June 15, 2015. Forms submitted after June 15 will require a letter to request approval of a late submission. OHR cannot guarantee your request will be approved.
If you are attending another institution, please check the tuition remission deadlines with that campus.
Tuition remission benefits for the aggregate summer sessions are limited to a maximum of eight credits for full-time employees or an eligible spouse and/or dependent child. Benefits are pro-rated if you work at least 50%.
Please note 1:1 courses such as advanced studio and private lessons, self-support programs such as computer certification courses, College of Education closed contract courses, and the Towson Learning Network are currently excluded from the tuition remission program at Towson.
Tuition remission forms are available online. The tuition form and affidavit are inclusive as one document and must contain your signature and your supervisor’s signature. Please initial the appropriate areas on the tax affidavit. All requests for tuition remission, regardless of the campus you are attending, must be submitted to Towson’s OHR for certification and processing.
Questions should be directed to June Hindle x4-6325 or jhindle@towson.edu.
Special instructions for fee payment
The Bursar’s Office publishes the billing schedules that list the dates when fees must be paid. Fees must be paid according to the schedule or a late fee will be assessed. Please be aware your bill due date ties into the actual date you register for the classes, not the date you turn in the tuition remission form. See the summer billing schedule for additional details.
Questions about your bill should be directed to the Bursar’s Office at x4-2100.
