Benefits Bulletin: Premium Holiday for Health Benefit Deductions

If you are a Regular employee, the paycheck you receive on April 8^th represents a “premium holiday” and you will not have payroll deductions for any of your State of Maryland health benefits – medical, prescription, dental, term life, AD&D, long-term care, and flexible spending accounts.  If you are enrolled in the UNUM life insurance or long-term disability insurance through the University System of Maryland, regular payroll deductions will continue.
