Mardistan (Macholand): Reflections on Indian Manhood: Film Screening and Discussion

The Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Criminal Justice in the College of Liberal Arts is sponsoring a film screening and discussion of Assistant Professor Harjant Gill’s new film, “Mardistan (Macholand):  Reflections on Indian Manhood,” on Wednesday, March 11, at 5:00pm in LA 1201 in the College of Liberal Arts building.  This documentary explores what it means to be a man in India, a nation increasingly defined by social inequality and gender related violence.

FREE ADMISSION with an opening presentation and Q&A session with filmmaker, Harjant Gill.  Light refreshments will be served.
