WTMD’s Spring Fund Drives happens between March 5th and 13th and we could use your help. In return, you’ll get meet WTMD staff you don’t see very often including our new Morning Show Host, Alex Cortright and we’ll feed you and send you back with extra snacks! Food contributors include: Joe Squared, Tooloulou’s, Waterfront Hotel, Portside Tavern—call Membership Assistant Grace Manlove at 4-5305 for when your favorite food will be here.
There’s Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Weekend shifts available. You’ll answer phones and talk to the people who believe in WTMD’s mission and programming so much they will part with their hard earned cash to help keep the place running. You’ll meet our volunteers too and learn why in addition to money they give their time to the station.
But the best part is you just may meet one of the Baltimore or National Bands that will be coming through the place. Hozier played a very intimate set of music here at WTMD and four months later was nominated for the grammy for best new artist. That’s what makes hanging out here so magical—You never know whose going to come through that door while you’re helping us raise money.
