World War I Poetry Open Mic Event

Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 3:00pm to 4:30pm

Cook Library, 3rd Floor Leisure Reading Area

Read your own poetry inspired by World War I themes (such as modernism, propaganda, destruction, illness & disease, political change, or remembrance) or read a famous poem from that era.

Contact Librarian Joyce Garczynski at jgarczynski@towson.edu or 410-704-5168 to reserve a 5-minute reading time. During your slot you will say a little bit about what inspired you to pick/write your poem and read the work. If you are reading your own poetry, please send your work to Joyce Garczynski no later than March 1st.
