Currently enrolled students, faculty and staff are now able to access a free download of the latest version of Microsoft Office to use on personal (not TU-owned) computers and personal or TU-owned smart phones or tablets. Both Mac and Windows versions are available. Each user can install Office – at no cost – on multiple PCs, Macs, tablets or iPads, and smart phones as long as they have an active Towson NetID.
To get started:
- Review FAQs: towson.edu/office365.
- Log in to the Office 365 portal at http://office.towson.edu.
- Refer to the Office 365 OTS Training document for detailed instructions at http://www.towson.edu/adminfinance/ots/trainingdoc/shr53-office365.asp.
- Confirm requirements: Office 2013 for Windows requires Windows 7 or higher. Office 2011 for Mac requires Max OS X 10.5.8 or higher.
