Norwalk Virus Infection

Outbreaks of the Norwalk virus infection have been reported by several local hospital emergency departments. The illness is self-limited, usually lasting two-three days, but can cause rather severe symptoms of nausea, vomiting and diarrhea, which can result in significant dehydration.
