Benefits Bulletin: Final Open Enrollment Reminders

As the 2015 health benefits plan year begins, please remember the following:

  • You have 30 days from receipt of your open enrollment confirmation statement to make changes due to administrative error if your form was processed incorrectly. To correct your confirmation statement – note the correction on the form, sign and date the form, and send it to HR-Benefits. You may send your statement via campus mail or fax it to 410-704-6321.
  • Regular employees – the first deduction for 2015 benefits will be in the January 14, 2015 pay check. Please review your pay stub and report any errors to HR-Benefits.
  • Contractual employees – you will receive health insurance payment coupons from the Employee Benefits Division of the State of Maryland. Please remember to make payments when they are due to avoid cancellation of your health benefits.
