Perform your best on exams by choosing the best fuel for your brain! Your brain uses a lot of energy and needs a constant supply of fuel. Whole grains provide a steadier supply of energy than refined grains. Water and fats also play critical roles by providing the insulation and fluid needed to conduct signals between nerve endings. Fruits and vegetables provide antioxidants that help fight off free radicals that can damage brain cells.
