Looking for a last minute opportunity to fulfill your student group’s service hours before the due date on Friday the 5th? Look no further than the Glen – hosting its final volunteer event that Friday, December 5th, from 12-4:00 pm!
We need your help to tackle the invasive species issue in the Glen. We’ll be focusing on invasives like English Ivy, Wineberry, Multiflora Rose, and Oriental Bittersweet.
We’ll be meeting in the Glen at the stone picnic table next to the pavilion behind Smith Hall at 12 pm. If you can’t make it until later, we’ll be working in that area, so come when you can and join in!
Dress warmly for outdoor work and to guard against any poison ivy (long sleeves/long pants). Work gloves, garbage bags, tools, and snacks will be provided.
