International Education Week 2014 Begins Next Week

The Office of International Initiatives is launching the robust celebration of International Education Week (IEW) planned during November 16-21, 2014. The International Education Week designated by the former President Clinton features the promotion of more internationalized campuses and the celebration of programs that enable students to gain global competency. The Office of International Initiatives is the key sponsor of the week and has collaborated with academic and student affairs units, Student Government Association (SGA), Graduate Student Association (GSA) and International Student Association (ISA) to offer a robust programming during the week. Every day during this week and all over campus there will be events focusing on internationalization of Towson’s campus. Various departments across campus will be hosting workshops and celebratory events to highlight how international education and the presence of international students and scholars, globally competent students and international expertise of our faculty and staff enrich Towson’s learning environment.

The International Education Week (IEW) is organized to engage Towson’s students, faculty and staff in the celebration of TU’s global profile. The IEW schedule is available at http://www.towson.edu/internationalprograms/iew.asp
