The final pay period of calendar year 2014 begins on 12/24/14 and ends on 1/6/15. All unused 2014 holiday and personal leave hours must be used on or before 1/6/15 or they will be forfeited.
The dates of the 2014 Winter Break are:

- Employees without accrued floating holidays to cover the * days above must use personal or annual leave to cover these four days. Sick leave may not be used unless already on approved medical leave.
- 50 days (400 hours) is the maximum amount of annual leave that can be carried over to the next calendar year. Annual leave earned and used in the pay period ending 1/6/15 will be factored into the calculation to reset balances to the allowed maximum. The maximum amount of annual leave part-time employees can carry over to the next calendar year is pro-rated based on the percent of time employed.
- Non-exempt regular staff employees who have unused compensatory leave hours as of 1/6/15 will be paid for those hours in the 1/28/15 pay check.
